If you live in the Vale Royal area of Cheshire and contact Winsford Mind you will be invited to visit the bungalow where staff will listen to your problems and give you information on the services provided. You can then decide together if the service has something that will help you.
Types of services:
Services provided will vary from time to time depending on the availability of members and tutors.
- SEWING GROUP: Opportunities to make small items for fundraising and gifts.
- ART GROUP: Available for those wishing to practice their painting and drawing skills
- GAMES ROOM: Watch television or a DVD. Other facilities include Pool, Air Hockey and Darts. Or take it easy in our relaxation room.
- BINGO: A regular fortnightly activity to raise funds for the centre.
- INFORMATION SERVICE: Information is available from staff and other local resources, e.g. CAB, CVS.
- WINSFORD CAB: A mental health advocate holds regular surgeries by appointment at the centre.
- OUTINGS: Regular local outings are planned by staff and members, they have visited Llandudno, local bowling alley, Prestatyn, out for meal, Christmas shopping in Liverpool.
